There are records for everything; even texting and when it comes to texting well, teens do it better than any other age group around. The very act itself seems to have originated with teens, so it comes as no surprise that teens send massive numbers of text each month.

Girls are more active texters than boys and send around 200 more text messages, on average. Voice usage seems to be going the way of the Dodo bird and many teens cite the ease at which they can flick their fingers and send a message to their friends. Hard to believe, I know, but talking is actually going out of fashion. What I suppose will be interesting to watch is how these ‘now’ teens function as young adults—what one earth will they be doing then?
