BestValue.com Domain Name Sells For $9,000

Another week, and another domain sale worthy of mention. This week it’s BestValue.com which sold on Namejet for around $9,000 or $8,913 to be precise. From the looks of things the domain was hotly contested and more than 5 people it was reported, was willing to pay more than the $7,200 that was set as the reserve.

In the end, one lucky bidder got hold of what is a decent and brandable domain name. very little is known about the buyer or the seller, but a quick look at the WHOIS records show that the domain was first registered in 2003. The domain is presently parked, leaving little room to presume ownership by the registrant on the WHOIS record Mrs Jello LLC.
Still, a great domain and one that will surely be used in the ecommerce space. As a matter of fact, this is the sort of domain that you could brand and use for the sale of anything of any ‘value’—pun intended.
Other notable sales for the week included blogging.org which sold for a decent $5,000 after it swooped passed the reserve price of $4,900. By the looks of things the domain market is heating up again, even if the sales so far are from the lower end of the scale.
