The hard work of building a website from scratch and doing some serious SEO has paid off for yet another person. The popular website selling marketplace Flippa.com handled the sale of stopsweatingfast.com recently and the seller made a whopping $10,000 from the sale.
The auction drew a total of 18 bids from 10 bidders overall, and many are lauding the sale, calling it ‘proof of what can be achieved with perseverance. What’s impressive for many about the sale is the seller took the time to build a site in a niche that is not widely known and got the site raking in revenues of $559 a month—all on auto-pilot.
The site itself ranks well for keywords pertaining to sweating problems and this many are speculating is the reason the site sold for such a huge price. Based on the sellers SEO efforts, the site at time of sale was getting over 20,000 unique visitors a month. That is clearly a lot of traffic and the buyer obviously feels that the site is under-performing with such a huge number of people visiting the site each month. Now all the new owner has to do is perhaps raise the price pf the eBook or tweak the copywriting on the page a bit—but even no changes are made, he will make back is $10,000 in another 18 months.
