Apple Bought Steve Jobs A $90 Million Corporate Jet

Many people know who Steve Jobs is due to his work in the Apple Company and the great strides he helped to make in today’s technological advancements. Steve Jobs was the former CEO of the Apple Company with which he worked for for many years and introduced their numerous products over the years to the public, from the Apple laptop to the recent iPhone. Unfortunately Steve Jobs passed away just about a month or so ago but he will always be remembered for the contributions that he made to the Apple company, the impact on those he worked with, as well as Apple users and technology around the world.

What a lot of people probably do not know is that Steve Jobs did not take much of an annual salary from the Apple company. His expenses were reimbursed at around $248,000 however, but what is most intriguing is the he took NO bonuses from the Apple company in all his time working there. However the position he held did come with some perks. For instance, Apple bought him a $90 million corporate jet that could hold around 14-19 people and could travel 11,000 KM before having to fuel up again. Some would think this is extravagant or unnecessary but with all of the work that Jobs put into Apple and the fact that his annual salary was low AND that he took no bonuses from the company, it seems like he deserved this perk and I’m sure it came in handy for his business and personal travels around the country and the world.

Steve Jobs held a net worth of some $7 billion dollars but this actually came mostly from his shares in the Pixar company and not Apple.
